A new Exchange Traded Product (ETP) tracking Bitcoin with an AI-driven allocation strategy has been launched by House of Satoshi, Aisot Technologies and Maverix Securities. The Bitcoin AI Strategy ETP (BTCAI) adjusts its Bitcoin weighting monthly based on quantitative models from Aisot, which analyze market, news and economic data to assess Bitcoin’s return potential and associated uncertainty.
The initiative originated from the Bitcoin community through House of Satoshi, according to founder Rino Borini. The firm has trained over 2,500 individuals on Bitcoin, identifying recurring concerns about price volatility and secure storage. BTCAI addresses these issues by dynamically reallocating between Bitcoin and cash (U.S. dollars) each month, with the cash share potentially rising to 80% during volatile periods. House of Satoshi will provide ongoing investor updates on the product’s performance.
The ETP is structured as a secured product, with underlying assets physically held and custodied by Swissquote, as noted by Serge Nussbaumer, Head of Sales at Maverix Securities, the issuing entity. Historical backtesting over five years shows BTCAI would have delivered a total return of 153.8%, compared with 50.4% for a static Bitcoin allocation, while reducing downside risk.
