Swiss investment firm Aevis has sold a block of one million shares—representing roughly 1.2% of its outstanding equity—to a family office linked to the Demole family, the company said on Tuesday.
The placement, executed on August 21, 2026, was priced at 12.40 Swiss francs per share, valuing the transaction at 12.4 million francs. The deal increases Aevis’s free float by approximately 1.2 percentage points, according to the company’s disclosure.
Aevis, which holds the historic Grandhotel Victoria-Jungfrau in Interlaken, did not disclose further details regarding the transaction or the buyer’s intentions. The move follows prior strategic adjustments aimed at broadening shareholder dispersion, the company said.
The placement comes amid a broader effort to enhance liquidity in Aevis’s stock, which has historically traded with a relatively concentrated ownership base. By raising the free float, the company seeks to improve market accessibility and trading volumes for existing and prospective shareholders.
