AAC Clyde Space AB reported a 20% year-on-year increase in revenue for the second quarter of 2025, citing stronger order intake and satellite deliveries.
The Swedish small satellite company said revenue rose to SEK 42.3 million ($4.1 million) from SEK 35.2 million in the same period last year. The growth was attributed to higher demand for its smallsat platforms and payloads, as well as increased deliveries to commercial and government customers.
Order backlog stood at SEK 185 million at the end of the quarter, up from SEK 150 million at the same time in 2024, reflecting sustained demand for the company’s space solutions.
Chief Executive Officer Luis Gomes highlighted the company’s progress in expanding its customer base and securing contracts for upcoming missions. "The strong revenue growth in Q2 underscores the increasing adoption of our smallsat platforms across both commercial and institutional sectors," Gomes said in a statement.
The company also noted improved gross margins, supported by operational efficiencies and higher-value contracts. AAC Clyde Space reiterated its guidance for full-year 2025, maintaining expectations for continued revenue growth and profitability improvements.
Shares in AAC Clyde Space were up 3.5% in early trading following the update.
