On 14 September 2026, Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) and pension provider Profond announced the launch of an automatic display of second‑pillar pension data within ZKB’s eBanking platform. The service allows customers whose pension assets are held with Profond to have their retirement information transferred directly into the eBanking environment after giving consent.
Once activated, users can view their accumulated retirement capital, disability benefits and survivor benefits directly in the pension‑coach feature of eBanking. The data exchange can be revoked at any time, and the function builds on the existing manual entry tool that previously offered only a rough estimate of retirement prospects.
The solution was developed in collaboration with M&S Software Engineering AG and relies on the publicly available SFTI Open Pension interface standards. ZKB describes the offering as a proof of value, intended to demonstrate the concrete benefits of a standardized digital pension statement for customers. The feature is available immediately in ZKB eBanking.
