ZenaTech Raises Stake in Boardwalktecktech to Nearly 20%

ZenaTech Inc. increased its stake in Boardwalktecktech Software Corp. to 19.9% of outstanding common shares, following open-market purchases on the Toronto Venture Exchange between Aug. 28 and Sept. 8.

ZenaTech acquired 1,518,126 common shares at $0.03 per share during the period, giving it a total holding of 25,779,437 shares on a non-diluted basis. An Early Warning Report filed by the company is available under Boardwalktecktech’s profile on SEDAR+.

The Nasdaq-listed firm, which specializes in AI drone, Drone-as-a-Service, enterprise SaaS and quantum computing solutions with offices in North America, Europe, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates, said the purchases were made for investment purposes. It added that it may participate in future financings or buy and sell securities of Boardwalktecktech either on the market or privately, depending on conditions.

ZenaTech also acquired warrants in a July 31 private placement. Including those warrants, the company’s potential partially diluted ownership would rise to 28.02%, equivalent to 40,779,437 common shares. However, ZenaTech agreed to a restriction preventing the exercise of warrants if doing so would push its ownership above 19.9% of outstanding common shares.
