US Stocks Rise on Diplomatic Hopes, Crypto and Tech Stocks Gain

US stock markets are showing gains as investors await the upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 0.8% at 52,110 points, while the Nasdaq 100 is up 1%. The falling oil prices have also provided a boost to the markets, with investors hoping for diplomatic progress.

Tech stocks are also seeing gains, with Nvidia up 0.6% and Intel up 5.5%. The KI-Plattformanbieter Anthropic has partnered with Accenture to test the security of its advanced models, with Accenture's shares up 3.3%.

Crypto stocks are also seeing gains, with Strategy and Coinbase up to 7%. The Bitcoin price has reached its highest level since January, with Bitstamp trading the oldest and most well-known cryptocurrency at $85,248, a 5% increase from the previous day.

The SMI in Switzerland is also up 1.1% at 13,901.55 points, with Givaudan leading the gains with a 3.3% increase. The mid-cap index SMIM is up 1.3% at 3,095.75 points, and the broad SPI is up 0.9% at 19,697.40 points.

The Euro/Franken pair is at 0.9447, close to its weekly high of 0.9479. The Dollar/Franken pair is at 0.8230, close to its yearly high of 0.8267. The Euro/Dollar pair is at 1.1477, within its recent trading range.
