Speedy Hire Plc held its annual general meeting on September 10, 2026, at its London offices, where shareholders approved a series of resolutions with overwhelming support. Five existing directors—Dan Evans, David Shearer, Rhian Bartlett, Shatish Dasani, and Carol Kavanagh—were re-elected with votes exceeding 98%. Newly elected directors included Judith Cottrell (99.78% approval) and Andrew McNaughton (99.61%), while board member David Garman resigned. Key committee appointments followed, with Carol Kavanagh joining the Audit & Risk and Nomination Committees, Rhian Bartlett the Remuneration Committee, and Shatish Dasani and Andrew McNaughton the Sustainability Committee. Shareholders also authorized directors to allot shares and purchase company shares in the open market.

The meeting’s outcomes reflect a stable governance structure and continued investor confidence in Speedy Hire’s strategic direction, particularly in its logistics and operational capabilities.
