OppFi CEO Purchases $24.542 in Company Shares

Todd G. Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer of OppFi Inc. (NASDAQ: OPFI), purchased 3,550 shares of the company's Class A common stock between September 1, 2026, and September 1, 2026. The shares were acquired at a weighted average price of $6.9133 per share, amounting to a total value of $24,542.

The transaction occurred amid a challenging market environment for OppFi. The company's shares have seen a 31% year-to-date drop, with a 52-week low of $6.50. OppFi's price-to-earnings ratio stands at 3.41.

Schwartz's indirect holdings post-transaction include 615,883 shares held by the TGS Revocable Trust, 24,656,083 shares held by TGS Capital Group, LP, and 1,949,309 shares held by TGS MCS Capital Group LP. Schwartz serves as the manager of the general partner for both TGS Capital Group, LP and TGS MCS Capital Group LP, disclaiming beneficial ownership except to the extent of his pecuniary interest.

OppFi's recent financial results for the second quarter of 2026 showed a mixed performance. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.33, below the Wall Street estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter was $145.17 million, down from the estimate of $156.51 million. Despite this, OppFi reported a record year-over-year revenue growth of 1.9%. Adjusted net income fell 27% to $29 million, and originations dropped 9% year-over-year to $212 million. Management lowered its full-year guidance due to delays in launching a new credit line and system migration.

Analysts have maintained an "outperform" rating on OppFi, citing upside potential tied to the pending acquisition of BNCCorp. However, the price target was reduced from $15.00 to $11.00, citing lower-than-expected Q2 volume and competitive pressures.
