Five Below Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVE) saw its stock price target rise to US$295 from US$278, with analysts maintaining an Outperform rating, following the company’s strong second-quarter fiscal 2026 results. The stock, trading at approximately US$243, has delivered a 61% return over the past year, with analysts projecting a further 12% upside. The upward revision reflects a fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit comparable sales growth, reaching 14% in Q2, though transaction volume growth slowed to 13% and average ticket size increased by less than 1%. Squishy dumplings contributed a low-single-digit boost to sales, while freight costs added around 30 basis points of headwind, expected to intensify in the second half of the year.
The company surpassed Wall Street estimates with adjusted earnings of US$1.68 per share (vs. an expected US$1.33) and revenue of US$1.26 billion (vs. an estimate of US$1.21 billion). Full-year revenue growth for the second half is now projected between 11% and 14%, up from an earlier estimate of 6% to 8%. Over the past twelve months, Five Below has achieved a 26% revenue growth rate. Analysts at Mizuho, including David Bellinger, noted that the results and guidance revisions underscore a business model well-suited to its core customer base.
Other firms have also adjusted their price targets: Telsey raised its estimate to US$305 (Outperform), Wells Fargo increased its to US$295, and Guggenheim adjusted its to US$290 (Buy). The company’s trajectory aligns with broader trends in retail innovation, particularly in the discount sector, where operational efficiency and customer engagement remain key drivers of growth.
