Bitcoin Breaks $67,000 as Spot ETF Inflows Hit Weekly Record
Institutional demand accelerates as US spot Bitcoin ETFs post their strongest week of inflows since launch, pushing the token to a two-month high.
Bitcoin climbed past $67,000 on Thursday, its highest level in two months, as US-listed spot ETFs recorded their largest weekly inflow since the funds launched in early 2024.
Data compiled by several fund trackers showed net inflows of more than $2.1 billion into the group of ETFs over the past five trading sessions, led by BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC.
Analysts pointed to a combination of factors: growing institutional allocation ahead of the fourth quarter, a softer-than-expected US inflation print, and renewed speculation around a staking-enabled Ethereum ETF that has lifted sentiment across the broader digital asset market.
